Know what you will spend, before you spend it.
In many firms the maintenance budget is last year's figure plus a bit. Here it is different: every job has measured time, an assigned person and recorded parts, so you can calculate the spend — backwards, per machine, and forwards, over whatever period you choose.
What you have already spent
Per machine
Labour and materials, added up over the machine's whole life. The figure you use to decide whether to repair it, upgrade it or replace it.
Per period
The spend for the month, the quarter or the year, split between planned jobs and unplanned ones.
Per job type
What each procedure costs on average. That is where you start when you negotiate service contracts and when you build the budget.
Per part
What was used, on which machine and in which job, with values. That is what you take into the conversation with the supplier.
What you will spend from here on
From the services coming up on each machine and from the materials written into the procedures, the platform shows you, over the period you choose:
- Which jobs are coming on each machine, and roughly when
- Which materials and parts you need, added up across the fleet
- What the labour comes to, worked out from the times in the procedure
- Where the jobs bunch up, so you can move them between orders

Parts known about in good time are ordered normally, not in a rush with express freight and an inflated price.
What each machine costs from here on
The spend estimated for the coming period shows per machine. That is where the budget comes from and where the replacement decision comes from.
